VISION 2012

National series of the Finnish Volleyball Association carry out and develope many series and competition activities. Individual club and players find the services as high quality and correctly priced. Starting points of the development work are needs and expectations of clubs and teams. Refereeing activities and development work of rules are made possible from the same starting points.

FINNISH CHAMPIONSHIPS LEAGUE

VISION 2012

Finnish Championships League is an irreplaceable display window of the national volleyball having a weekly TV visibility during the series. It has doubled its number attendance during the strategy season (women: 1. of all indoor team sports / men: 2nd after ice hockey). The league's athletic ground is strong. It is a high quality growing environment for the youth going through to the international level. League teams participate successfully to international competitions and benefit the athletic development of the national team players. League's internal cooperation is constructive and the quality system apropos of league licence creates the basis to strengthen the economy and to development work of many activities, where league teams takes the responsibility of broad volleyball work of their own region.

1. Improving the league's athletic quality
2. Increasing the number of spectators in the league game events
3. Increasing the TV visibility of the league games
4. Strengthening the local activities of the league teams 

MAIN RESULTS 2006-2012

1. The National Championships League becomes a wanted partner in the sport production of national TV channels. League games will be seen weekly on TV during the Series season with the high quality implementation.
2. Average number of spectators exceeds 1000 spectators in the regular season and 2500 in play off games and finals in the end of the strategy season. 
3. Circumstances and the number of full-time coaches able the development to the international level.
4. Turnover of clubs has doubled and the own capital of the league takes over 50% of Series season's costs.
5. 3 league clubs gets annually to the group stage of their own CUP tournament.
6. League clubs are central developers of their region's youth volleyball and each league club has approximately 400 junior teams.
